Undergraduate certificates may only be earned and will only be awarded in conjunction with a bachelor’s degree. They will not be awarded as an independent credential.
The Georgia Film Academy is a collaborative effort of the University System of Georgia and Technical College System of Georgia supporting workforce needs of the film and digital entertainment industries. The academy will certify workforce ready employees in needed areas, connect students and prospective employees with employers, and offer a unique capstone experience for top students that will provide them a path to employment in Georgia.

Required Courses
Satisfactorily complete three of the following courses: Total Credit Hours: 18
- Courses used to fulfill certificate requirements may also be used to fulfill core, major, minor, or other program requirements.
- Federal financial aid will not pay for a certificate course unless that course is also necessary to complete a student’s required number of hours for the bachelor’s degree or another bachelor’s degree requirement. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office if they have questions about their federal aid eligibility.

Black Box Theatre: - New facility in historic downtown Milledgeville; opened in Fall 2010
