  • A cross-listed course can only count toward the requirement in one discipline.
  • Special Topics courses may also be used to fulfill these requirements with the permission of the department chair.

Capstone


Satisfactorily complete an appropriate 4000-level course that includes a senior research paper/project or complete an appropriate study abroad course. The capstone must be approved by the department chair. Students choosing the Global Studies concentration are strongly encouraged to pursue a semester-long study abroad program, an international internship or an internship with an organization working with an globally diverse population within the United States as their capstone experience.
