History Minor

World History

Satisfactorily complete one of the following courses with a grade of C or better:

• HIST 1111 Survey of World Hist/Civ I
• HIST 1112 Survey of World Hist/Civ II

United States History

Satisfactorily complete one of the following courses with a grade of C or better:

• HIST 2111 The United States to 1877
• HIST 2112 The United States Since 1877

Historical Methods

Satisfactorily complete both of the following courses with a grade of C or better:

• HIST 3002 Historian’s Craft: World
• HIST 3003 Historian’s Craft: American

History Elective

Satisfactorily complete one three-hour 3000-4000 level History elective with a grade of C or better. This course may be from any field: United States, European, or World. See Undergraduate History Courses for a full list of courses and course descriptions.

Additional Minor Requirements

• Satisfactorily complete all minor requirements  listed in the academic policies section of this catalog.
• Earn a grade of C or better in all minor courses.
• Courses in the minor may not be used to satisfy requirements in other majors or minors.
