HIST 4155 Early Modern Europe


This course will examine in depth the society, culture and politics of Europe from the end of the medieval period to the end of the eighteenth century. The approach will be thematic, focusing on subjects such as economy and society, political and scientific revolutions, the role of gender, and political thought. This course proposes not merely a narration of the events of European history, but also an in-depth exposure to primary sources.

Credits Hours: 3

Prerequisite: HIST 1111  or HIST 1112 .
