HIST 4125 The Crusades

This course will survey Crusader movements beginning in the eleventh century and continuing through the Crusades of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Attention will be paid to the development of the Latin Kingdoms, to cross-cultural exchanges and influences and to the impact of the Crusades on the modern world.

Prerequisite: HIST 1111 or HIST 1112.
