HIST 3560 Gender in Southern History This course will New Coderess issues relating to gender ideals, conventions, and prevailing social norms by examining the South’s history through a gendered analytical lens. It will involve an in-depth analysis of gender’s role in shaping the region’s most significant historical moments, from its pre-colonial beginnings to the dawning of the twenty-first century.
