ENGL 4455 Lit of the Islamic World

In-depth study of selected works by writers culturally connected to the Islamic world (or its diaspora), with attention to cultural, political, and historical backgrounds relevant to the works, including special attention to literary and aesthetic developments across the Islamic world. Course Themes will vary.
