CRJU 5200 Drugs and Crime

This class will explore drugs in American society with an emphasis on the social construction of the meaning of drugs and the usage of them. In New Codeition, the history of the social control of drug usage will be explored with a particular emphasis on formal social control through the American criminal justice system.
