CHEM 1212K Prin of Chemistry II & Lab High school chemistry course with laboratory or introductory college chemistry course with laboratory. College algebra. Continuation of a two-semester sequence covering the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry designed for science majors. Topics to be covered include intermolecular forces, properties of solutions, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, chemical thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. Laboratory exercises supplement the lecture and are incorporated in the course. This is a HOPE and Zell Miller STEM course.
Fees: New Codeitional laboratory fee may be required; see semester course schedule for amount.
Credits Hours: 4
Prerequisite: CHEM 1211 and CHEM 1211L , or CHEM 1211K , or CHEM 1311 and CHEM 1311L .
